Terms and Conditions

MediGo Online Ordering and Delivery Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By ticking the agreement box and placing an order, you enter into a binding agreement with MediGo. Under Republic Act No. 8792 (Electronic Commerce Act of 2000), your electronic assent has the same legal effect as a signature on paper. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not place an order.

2. About the seller

MediGo is a medical supply warehouse and delivery service operating in Baybay City, Leyte. Business name, registration details, and the establishment's Food and Drug Administration License to Operate (LTO) are disclosed on the About page and on the official receipt issued for every order.

3. Who may order

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the account, address, and contact details you provide, and for keeping your password confidential. Orders placed through your account are presumed to be made by you.

4. Service area

MediGo currently delivers only within Baybay City, Province of Leyte. Orders with a delivery address outside this area cannot be accepted or fulfilled. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, road conditions, or events beyond our control.

5. Products, descriptions, and prices

In accordance with Republic Act No. 11967 (Internet Transactions Act of 2023) and Republic Act No. 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines), we take care to state prices accurately and to deliver goods in the condition, quantity, and quality shown on this site. All prices are in Philippine Pesos and include tax where applicable.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, or becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and either cancel that item with a full refund of any amount already paid, or offer a substitute for your approval. We do not substitute any item without your consent.

6. Prescription products

Certain medicines may be dispensed only upon presentation of a valid prescription issued by a licensed physician, as required under Republic Act No. 10918 (Philippine Pharmacy Act of 2016) and Republic Act No. 9711 (FDA Act of 2009). Where an item requires a prescription, our staff will ask for a legible copy before the order is released. Orders without a valid prescription for such items will be cancelled, and any payment for those items refunded.

7. Senior Citizen and Person with Disability discounts

Qualified senior citizens are entitled to a twenty percent (20%) discount and exemption from value-added tax on the purchase of medicines and medical devices under Republic Act No. 9994 (Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010). The same privilege is granted to persons with disability under Republic Act No. 10754.

To claim it, present a valid OSCA Senior Citizen ID, PWD ID, or another government-issued identification establishing eligibility to the rider upon delivery. Following Department of Health A.O. No. 2024-0017 and FDA Circular No. 2025-005, a purchase booklet is no longer required. The discount is applied to the covered items before payment and cannot be granted retroactively.

8. Placing an order

Selecting "Place Order" is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and it moves to Preparing. We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, if the address is outside our service area, if a required prescription is not provided, or if we reasonably suspect fraud.

9. Payment

We accept Cash on Delivery, GCash, and credit or debit card. For Cash on Delivery, please prepare the exact amount where possible. An official receipt is issued for every completed order. Title to the goods passes to you upon full payment and delivery.

10. Delivery and rider location tracking

Once a rider is assigned, you may follow the delivery on a map. The location shown is the rider's device location during an active delivery only; it is used solely to let you follow your own order and is not retained for any other purpose.

Someone aged eighteen (18) or older must be available to receive the order at the given address. If no one is available after reasonable attempts, the order may be returned to the warehouse and a redelivery arranged.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel an order at no cost while it is still Pending. Under Section 24 of Republic Act No. 11967, a confirmed and paid order may no longer be cancelled once it is in the possession of the delivery rider or otherwise in transit. Cash on Delivery orders refused without valid reason upon arrival may result in the suspension of the Cash on Delivery option for the account.

12. Returns, replacement, and refund

Report any problem within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery, with photographs where possible. Consistent with Republic Act No. 7394, we will replace, or refund the price of, any item that is delivered damaged, expired, incorrect, or short in quantity, and we shoulder the cost of retrieving it.

For the safety of all customers, medicines and other temperature-sensitive or sealed health products that have left our custody and are found to be in order cannot be accepted for return or resale, because their storage conditions can no longer be verified. This limitation does not apply to defective, expired, incorrect, or damaged goods, and does not reduce your rights under the Consumer Act.

13. Privacy of your personal data

We collect only the information needed to process and deliver your order: your name, contact number, delivery address, order history, and, where applicable, senior citizen or PWD identification and prescription details. This is processed under Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012).

Your data is shared only with the rider handling your delivery and with our payment provider, and is never sold. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Health-related information such as prescriptions is treated as sensitive personal information and is handled with corresponding care.

14. Your responsibilities

Read the product label, dosage, and expiry date upon receipt. MediGo delivers health products; it does not provide medical advice. Consult a physician or pharmacist before using any medicine, and do not rely on this site for diagnosis or treatment.

15. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where a greater liability is imposed by law. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any right you hold under the Consumer Act of the Philippines or the Internet Transactions Act.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version displayed at the moment you place an order is the version that governs that order.

17. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be brought before the proper courts of Baybay City, Leyte, without prejudice to your right to file a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry, the Food and Drug Administration, or the National Privacy Commission.

18. Contact us

For questions, complaints, or requests concerning your personal data, contact MediGo through the details published on our Contact page. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within three (3) working days.
